From Camera to Socials in Seconds

Any camera that can connect to the internet (via built-in WiFi or an external LTE adapter) and supports FTP transfer is compatible. This includes most modern DSLRs and mirrorless cameras from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm and others. The key requirement is FTP support on the camera side — if your camera has it, it works with Wyre.

Transfer speed depends on several factors, including the specific camera model, WiFi connection quality, file size and photo type (JPG vs RAW). Different cameras have different transfer speeds, so we recommend testing with your specific model. On average, JPG photos transfer within a few seconds, while RAW files may take 10-30 seconds depending on their size. Our infrastructure is optimized for the fastest possible transfer and all photos are available immediately after upload.

Yes, our system supports uploading both formats. You can set your camera to save photos in both formats (RAW + JPG). Then you can simply send either RAW or JPG at the press of a button. The system supports a wide range of RAW formats from various camera manufacturers and standard formats like JPG, PNG and similar.

Setup is quite straightforward. After purchasing a plan, you can create an FTP access in the admin panel and enter the credentials into your camera. If you have any questions or issues, feel free to contact our support for assistance.

Not at all. Wyre is a pure web application — everything runs directly in your browser. Photographers set up FTP transfer on their camera once, and the social media team simply opens the gallery link. No installation, no updates, no compatibility issues.
